Janis P. O’Malley, M.D.Director, Division of Nuclear Medicine, Director of Clinical PET Dr. O'Malley is the Director of Nuclear Medicine and PET. She is highly regarded by the residents as an exceptional teacher. She has authored several textbook chapters and is co-author of a textbook popular with residents, The Requisites: Nuclear Medicine. Her involvement in nuclear medicine includes serving as a Scientific Program Committee Vice-Chair for the Society of Nuclear Medicine and previously as President of the Alabama Society of Nuclear Medicine. She is an oral examiner in nuclear radiology for the American Board of Radiology and has recently been elected to the American Board of Nuclear Medicine Board of Directors. |
