Cheri L. Canon, M.D.Senior Vice Chair for Operations, Vice Chair for Education, Director of the Division of Diagnostic Radiology, Chief, GI Dr. Canon is a former chief radiology resident at UAB. A vivacious and astute physician, Dr. Canon functions as a general abdominal radiologist with special interest in barium studies. She received the President’s “Excellence in Teaching” award and the University of Alabama School of Medicine’s Argus Teaching Award for Excellence in Clinical Instruction. Dr. Canon is Chief of Gastrointestinal Radiology and is an oral examiner in GI for the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Canon served as the Radiology Residency Program Director from January 2003 to October 2008. |
