UAB Radiology Fellowships

UAB offers fellowship training in a number of subspecialties of radiology. Those fellowship programs for which an accreditation process exists, namely neuroradiology and angiography / interventional radiology, are accredited by the ACGME. Most fellowships are one year in duration, although most neuroradiology fellows in the department spend two years in the program. We also offer a year of advanced residency training in Nuclear Medicine at the PGY-5 or PGY-6 level.

Requirements for entering these programs include board certification (or board eligibility) in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology and eligibility for medical licensure in Alabama.
